Please I would like to know if it is biblical for a pregnant
lady to have her wedding in the church with the pastor joining them together in
holy matrimony.

No....there's no where in the Bible that
says its okay for a Lady to have sex or get pregnant before marriage, In fact, this is what the Bible says about this Issue.
"Hebrews 13:4: Marriage should be
honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the
adulterer and all the sexually immoral."
It is glaring. No comma, no stammering, no
long talk.
The challenge is that there is no difference
between the one that has big tummy and the one that just did it that night before the wedding. The only difference is that one's own is obvious, while the
other person's own is 'coded'.
This issue is beyond whether they should
be wedded or not...its about getting everyone back to the basics....what it the
right thing to do?
How can the church really promote purity
effectively if all leaders of the church are not that pure? The only reason is to avoid things like
this...Pregnancy, sexual immorality etc...You cannot really deal with this
matter if you don't get to the foundation and I am glad we are already doing
that here at WONDIVA the Questionnaire.
People are doing it. People are giving birth anyhow outside of
marriage(aside rape). People are forming and promoting single
mum club (that open their legs for a guy that they are not married to, not
the ones that their husband left them). So its been acted on TV, social media,
Reality TV etc and. then we carry it and want to transfer it inside
Christianity and even Lifestyle just because one big celeb did it and all
that.
Then Christians excuse is
"Grace". You see...Grace is to help you stay
strong in the righteousness race that Christ has finished for us not give us
liberty to join the deliberately world
and then keep running back...Thank God for this dispensation of
Grace....but if you misuse it...you're doing yourself great harm. Because there's always a
consequence for every action especially when you know what's right and you
still went ahead. Let me tell the truth, the more you obey
God, the more virtue would flow out of you...lets not be deceived...
Sexual Purity has its rewards. It has it's
reward and let's strive to enjoy it. As for the Pastor/Priest joining them, Jesus told the Adulterous woman to
"go and sin no more". He is merciful like that.
So the Pastor/Priest has to Wed
them...after confessing to God and showing remorse. When Jesus said the Adulterous woman to go and sin no more...He was
passing a message to all of us I believe it can be seen as this: "What you did is bad, but I have
forgiven you, make sure you don't do it again&Likewise everyone else learn
from her own story"
This is a straight forward
interpretation. But you see what happens nowadays...Jesus says go and sin no more to a girl and she gets wedded and other
girls remove the part of the message that's saying to all of us through the
girl story that's saying "this is bad; don't do it". We only see the forgiveness part and
indulge in all sort of rubbish because it has become a norm in the society or
because of Grace.
The solution is in the Scripture I just
quoted:
- Abstain and Stay away from Pre marital sex
- Indulging in little kissing and smooching is what leads to ultimate sex, sex doesn't start by people just lying untop of each other....there's a process
- Submit yourself to God; Resist the Devil and He will flee from you
- Talk to any girl you know about this...so that we have more flat stomachs and more virgins get married.
- Rape or sexual assault isn't a ticket for pre marital sex, if you're born again...He has washed you clean; Abstain
- Those who are not Holy would not see the Lord (Heb 12.14)
If we practice more of this....we would
have less of this.In the Long run, it's not just about the Aunthority joining
them or not...It is about the right thing being done; it is about the little
big things.
Thank you.
