HOW LONG DO YOU WAIT FOR THE SPIRIT OF DISCERNMENT FROM GOD

How long do you wait for the spirit of discernment from God?

The gifts of the spirit are available to us all and if we truly seek it, we would find it.

Desire it: Desire it like you desire to wake up to see the next day. While desiring it, make sure that your motive is right. 1. Cor 12 verse 7. The Gifts are given to us we can help one another, if that's your true motive as you desire it you will get it fully as Christs gives you.

Start practicing it: Don't wait till it "seems" or "feels" like, because it may never feel like it. We operate and live by faith. So, after step one, just start practicing it. You may miss at your first few tries but continue do not relent and one day, it will become very regular. Did you know that Bishop Oyedepo and even some other preachers like Andrew Wommack once tried to use their faith? But I am trying to say they were once starting and at the start time it didn't seem so smooth, but as they continued...it became regular. Today we know their big stories and we don't even remember the ones that didn't "seem to work”. So, constantly practice.

Continually stay Full of God and Full of Love: As you desire this, there's a more excellent gift (1 Cor 12:3) if you don’t stay full of it, you will just be a performer. Love must come before and after any gift. So if it's not in love or for love, it’s better you just sit down because it will all be a waste of time and energy (1 Cor 13:1-3)

Finally, stay full of God, Remain in Him because apart from Him you can do nothing. We are the branches. Never forget that. John 15.5
