What’s your take on online dating? Can you get married to
someone you met online? If yes, state your reasons and if no, state your
reasons.

Misuse of a
thing is what we call *abuse*
The Internet can
actually be used greatly or abused. The problem why there's so much hatred for
online meeting is because of the abuse by the people involved.
How can you meet
someone online and begin to think that they love you just like that?
That's the
problem. You can meet, date and get married without trying to get to know each
other face to face for one year at least.
So the meeting online isn't the problem. In this age, we are
going to meet so many people online *WONDIVA* is an obvious example. But how
are you managing it? Are you substituting video call for character assessment?
No now, it won’t work.
If you are going to meet someone online, there's no love that wants
to blossom over phone data, you need to take and make conscious effort in
getting to know *the real life* of this person. If you do this and you find
great things that match with God's plan for your life, good for you.
But don't assume and don't be deceived
*6months of getting to know someone physically is better
than 5 years of video chat and all sort of pictures you think you have without
real meetings*
Human beings are funny, some wicked, some kind. To be sure of the
kind of human your getting into you need to get up close and personal because
you will be living together not over the internet when you get married right?
So my answer is...
It's possible to get married to someone you met over the internet. But whether that marriage would be a right or wrong one is
determined by the choices you make and wisdom you use to handle it as I stated
above already.
