MASTURBATION: Some things you need to know part I

There are some things that need to be known about Masturbation. I will be discussing about it in two posts. This post and the next.

Masturbation is caused by the void in a person that has not been filled. One could be introduced to it through peer pressure, or one could stumble upon it. Whatever the case is, the void and emptiness in every human will be filled by something.

So it's either the things of God or things of the devil. That's why training up a child the Lord's way cannot be over-emphasized. I mean the Lord's way not the religious way.

How can you help such person overcome?

■ Give him something higher and greater than the Habit; God's Love, God's Word, Understanding of the bigger picture of life and discovery of Himself in God and see him abandon the habit.

Now it may not be so easy, it will be slower or faster for different people. The point is, this is the truth and it is what the addict needs, we can’t sugar-quote this.
